Welcome back to the Cavern! Once again we appreciate the great & supportive responses that we’ve received from the One Piece Community!
It becomes more easy to overlook the growth in strength that’s displayed as time goes on in the story. when we’re witnessing power capable of decimating countries from former Schichibukai & Emperors, it’s an understandable thing to do. But certain moments & events require further acknowledgement to really appreciate this growth we’re seeing.
During the events of the Paramount War, The World Government unveiled the newest addition to their military might, The Pacifista! The WG are able to mass produce these War Machines but before we get to that I want you to re–evaluate your opinions on the Invention.
Only two years ago the Cipher Pol Unit, CP9 were amongst the most powerful assets that the WG had at their disposal! CP9 had gone unchallenged for years with the power they possessed. Now hear this, with the invention of The Pacifista, A Single Machine would possibly be capable of wiping out that entire Cipher Pol Unit!

Here’s another example of the insane boost in military power. The attack force of a Pacifista Unit would have been able to eradicate every supernova present at Sabaody! you can include CP9 in the mix & the Machines would still decimate everyone with minimal casualties.
When the Pacifista entered the War against Emperor Newgate, their power was immediately able to change the flow of battle in favor of the Marines. With Vegapunk emulating Admiral Kizarus devil fruit powers into the machines, this allows for many possibilities in regards to power–ups.

Admiral Fujitora has been adamant on his standing of The SSG being the Superior power in comparison to the Warlords! he’s personally witnessed the power of two former Schichibukai & his opinions have not changed! The Marines Launched an all out assault on the Warlords, nearly a week prior to the Festival.
The Way Kaido spoke of The situation regarding the WG’s Invention/Force & the Warlords, seem to implicate that information regarding the aftermath of the events have been made somewhat public to the outside world! It’s also a possible hint as to why Marco, would seemingly no longer consider Edward, Weevil as threat to the Village he was protecting.
Boa Hancock during the Paramount War was able to single handedly destroy multiples of the Machines with no difficulty. So the advancements have to be substantial if they’re to surpass the Schichibukai. There’s two likely possibilities in my opinion, The Drunken Iron Ore or Added Devil Fruit like weaponry.
First off There’s the chance that this special metal could have been used to upgrade whatever invention Vegapunk created! the importance of this metal & interaction will make itself known very soon.

The second possibility is that Vegapunk could have found a way to emulate additional Fruit abilities in combination with Borsalinos Lasers! essentially it’s the knockoff equivalent of a single person having multiple devil fruit abilities if he’s able to pull this off!
as you probably have noticed by now, I favor the possibility of SSG being an upgraded Pacifista unit with possible slight variations to appearance. The Pacifista were only prevalent as a threat for such a short time & for it’s design to become essentially “Obsolete” would be a bit of a slap to Kuma’s self sacrifice of his body & mind.
